Key responsibilities:
- Own pricing and contracting operations: contract lifecycle management; administer rebates and chargebacks.
- Oversee government pricing/reporting (Medicaid Best Price, ASP, 340B ceiling calculations) and monitor MFN policy filings/requirements.
- Manage Global Pricing Committee secretariat activities (governance, documentation, approval monitoring).
- Lead payer marketing strategy and market access value/message development.
- Lead market access analytics: payer segmentation, market landscape research, demand/access forecasting.
- Monitor competitor intelligence and the Huntingtonβs disease competitive/access landscape.
- Manage departmental budget (OpEx) and ensure financial targets are met.
- Manage Field support systems (e.g., Veeva CRM/Vault) and data governance/user access.
- Track launch readiness milestones, maintain risk logs, and oversee related budgets across HEOR, Trade & Distribution, Account Management, and Global Market Access.
- Serve as compliance lead for Anti-Kickback Statute, OIG, and FDAMA adherence for Market Access SOPs/materials review.
- Provide early market access strategy/input into pre-commercial pipeline development (evidence generation planning; trial endpoint/PRO selection).
- Lead market access training/enablement content.
Qualifications/skills:
- 10+ years in market access, pricing/contracting, or government pricing in biotech/pharma; rare disease or gene/cell therapy strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Medicaid Best Price/ASP/340B and pricing compliance frameworks (Anti-Kickback Statute, OIG).
- Strong quantitative/analytical skills (payer segmentation, forecasting, competitive intelligence).
- Contract lifecycle management and payer/distributor agreement experience (including ex-U.S.).
- Familiarity with MFN and Inflation Reduction Act pricing policy considerations.
- Experience with Veeva CRM/Vault or comparable systems; payer marketing and translating HEOR outputs to payer value messages.
- Cross-functional collaboration (HEOR, Patient Services, Trade & Distribution, Legal, Finance, Compliance).
- Project management experience (committee secretariat; launch readiness tracking).
- BS/BA required; MBA/MPH/PharmD/JD or related preferred.
Location/compensation:
- Preferred: US Northeast. Primarily remote; ~20% travel.
- Salary range: $246,000β$318,000.
