Summary of Position:
Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) providing HR leadership and support to Research & Development and Tech Ops & Quality. Trusted advisor to leaders, driving talent, culture, change management, and operational excellence; overseeing HR programs/services including leadership, talent acquisition & talent management (employee development, coaching, compensation processes, performance management, organization and change management), and leading Employee Relations to support effective management, conflict resolution, and problem solving.

Position Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic HR leadership and expert guidance for people processes to achieve key business objectives.
- Define, build, and implement value-added HR strategies and solutions; advise leaders on complex organization design/development/change issues.
- Partner with Talent teams to deliver people and talent strategy (attraction, development, retention aligned to growth objectives and corporate strategy).
- Partner with HR specialist functions to roll out programs that enhance employee engagement and organization change initiatives.
- Implement and manage key HR processes, including year-end performance management (assessment, calibration, compensation planning).
- Manage employee relations issues; identify and implement appropriate employee action/accountability practices.
- Coach managers on employee behavior/performance; support performance feedback or action plans including corrective/disciplinary actions.

Candidate Requirements:
- 10 years’ experience (or equivalent education plus experience) in HR business partnering/related field; deep understanding of biotech/pharma.
- Experience developing and implementing HR plans/strategies supporting R&D functions (must).
- Strong talent management, succession planning, leadership, employee development, employee relations, and employee engagement.
- Experience leading culture and change management/organizational effectiveness initiatives.
- Demonstrated employee relations expertise, judgment, analytical/interpersonal/problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to distill complex information into clear, compelling messages.
- Experience leading large-scale projects; comfortable driving change amid ambiguity.
- Values-driven leader able/willing to work at all levels.

Compensation:
- $265,000 - $300,000 per year
