About The Role
Develops strategies for and is accountable for the HEOR function’s successful execution of product/disease-specific projects to determine and express the health care value of Neurocrine marketed products or developmental compounds; works with the U.S. Product Development Team, Medical Affairs stakeholders, Brand, Clinical, and Managed Care/Health Care Advocacy groups to develop information that allows patients, clinicians, and payers to make informed health care decisions.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to)
- Develops strategy and operational plans; expands functional strategy with senior leadership/peers
- Sets strategy; designs, develops, and implements projects to create product-specific evidence for value assessment and market access
- Acts as U.S. brand lead for HEOR content and support
- Collaborates with business partners to meet evidence needs of external consumers
- Manages vendors and relationships from selection to potential ending
- Selects, develops, evaluates personnel; directs subordinate managers
- Directs resolution of highly complex/unusual business/scientific problems; applies advanced analytical judgment
- Develops new/innovative solutions; interacts with senior leadership to influence policy
- Represents Neurocrine at professional events; may present data and findings
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements
- MS in health outcomes/economics (or related) + 13+ years pharmaceutical HEOR experience (real-world evidence using claims/encounter databases preferred; U.S. HTA submissions like AMCP dossiers, budget impact, cost-effectiveness/offset models, ICER submissions preferred; protocol/analysis plan development, large database analysis, economic modeling, and payer/HTA engagement preferred; extensive managerial experience required)
OR
- PhD/PharmD in health outcomes/economics (or related) + 10+ years similar experience
OR
- Extensive leadership experience
- Demonstrated strategy development/implementation; expert functional knowledge; leadership and influencing skills
- Ability to manage/mentor/train personnel
- Strong written communication (publication/medical writing)
- Ability to analyze/summarize data; think critically; manage projects; synthesize complex information
- Knowledge in protocol/analysis plan development, large databases, possible economic modeling
- Excellent SAS or other statistical programming skills
