Specific Responsibilities & Skills
- Lead the three-year strategic planning, annual operating plan, and ongoing forecast processes for IT and Site Operations; provide actionable insights and scenario analyses.
- Partner with IT and Site Operations leadership to evaluate and support Capital and OpEx investment decisions aligned to strategic priorities.
- Oversee monthly/quarterly close, expense accruals, management reporting, and budget-to-actual variance analysis; communicate results and key drivers.
- Collaborate with Controllership on accounting treatment for complex initiatives (e.g., AI programs, new building investments, site closures, infrastructure projects).
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analyses and project support to executive leadership.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
Knowledge, Experience, & Skills
- 14+ yearsβ experience with a BA/BS; 12+ with an MBA; at least 5β7 years as a senior finance leader and business partner.
- 4β6+ years management experience (teams of 6+).
- BS/BA required; MBA or CPA strongly preferred.
- Prior biotech/pharma experience strongly preferred.
- US GAAP proficiency; in-depth accounting/finance knowledge.
- In-depth knowledge of IT, Business Intelligence, Planning, and ERP systems; proficiency in Microsoft tools.
- Experience in high-growth, multi-national organizations a plus.
