Responsibilities:
- Lead the three-year strategic planning, annual operating plan, and ongoing forecast processes for IT and Site Operations; provide scenario analyses to inform leadership decisions.
- Partner with IT and Site Operations leadership to evaluate and support Capital and OpEx investment decisions aligned to strategic priorities.
- Oversee monthly/quarterly close, expense accruals, management reporting, and budget-to-actual variance analysis; communicate results to IT/Site Operations and senior Finance.
- Collaborate with Controllership on accounting treatment for complex initiatives (e.g., AI programs, new building investments, site closures, infrastructure projects).
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analyses and project support to executive leadership.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team (approx. nine professionals).
Qualifications/Skills:
- 14+ years with BA/BS (or 12+ with an MBA), including 5–7 years as a senior finance leader and business partner.
- 4–6 years management experience (leading teams of 6+).
- BS/BA required; MBA or CPA strongly preferred.
- Prior biotech/pharma experience strongly preferred.
- In-depth accounting/finance proficiency and knowledge of US GAAP required.
- Deep knowledge of IT, Business Intelligence, planning, and ERP systems; proficiency in Microsoft tools required.
- High-growth, multi-national experience a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills, credibility with diverse audiences, business/financial acumen, results orientation, team leadership, and change leadership.
