Requirements: PhD in biology or chemistry; over 10 years in drug discovery or development; 4+ years in business development or ecosystem building. High-value: deep understanding of drug discovery models and tools, experience with biotech startups and academic collaborations, and proficiency in open innovation frameworks. Skills: strong relationship-building, strategic thinking, excellent communication, proactive self-starter, and ability to translate scientific value into partnership opportunities. Work setup: Travel approximately 30%, active presence at 6-10 conferences annually. Preferred: familiarity with AI/ML tools in life sciences and experience in community engagement.
