What You Will Achieve
- Serve as a strategic technology executive and technical thought leader for Pfizer’s cloud and infrastructure landscape.
- Define future-state infrastructure strategy and ensure execution of enterprise-scale initiatives across cloud, networking, data center modernization, platform engineering, and AI infrastructure.
- Lead senior leaders and engineering organizations; establish technology vision, engineering standards, and operating models.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute multi-year cloud and infrastructure transformation strategy aligned to business and scientific priorities.
- Lead enterprise modernization across multi-cloud, AI/ML platforms, network transformation, infrastructure automation, and data center evolution.
- Provide senior technical authority for architecture, platform engineering, cloud operations, resiliency, security, and infrastructure modernization.
- Partner with architects/engineering leaders to influence critical technical decisions.
- Drive cloud-native adoption, Infrastructure as Code, automation, observability, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering.
- Establish technology roadmaps, engineering standards, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Lead and develop high-performing teams; influence executives in a global matrixed environment.

Leadership Expectations
- Influence across executive and technical teams; lead through ambiguity; translate strategy into measurable business impact.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
- BS in CS/CE/IT or related.
- 12+ years progressive leadership in cloud/infrastructure/networking/platform engineering.
- Proven success leading enterprise-scale cloud & infrastructure transformation.
- Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP; strong architecture, networking, automation, operations, and security foundation.
- Expertise in cloud-native architectures, Terraform/OpenTofu, automation, DevOps, observability, resiliency, and modern operating models.
- Strong cybersecurity, compliance, and risk management understanding.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI/ML infrastructure, advanced analytics, HPC.
- Research/scientific computing or large-scale data science workload support.
- Regulated industry experience; advanced degree; industry certifications.
