Qualifications: Ph.D. in Dermatology, Cell Biology, or related fields; M.D. with specialty in Dermatology or Plastic Surgery; 10+ years of industry experience with a proven track record in external innovation, licensing, and business development within dermatology or aesthetic medicine; deep mechanistic knowledge of skin biology and therapeutic modalities. Preferred skills include experience with startup creation, venture capital, global collaboration, and leadership in high-stakes negotiations. High-value specifics: focus on cutaneous biology, skin aging, hair biology, and adjacent aesthetic indications; involvement in early to late-stage development; familiarity with novel modalities like cell therapy and gene medicine; domestic and international travel up to 40%. Collaboration primarily with strategic partners, academic institutions, and internal discovery and commercial teams. Work setup involves frequent travel with a focus on external partnership development.
