Purpose:
Set and execute the end-to-end supply chain strategy for the Spine franchise, driving performance across planning, manufacturing, distribution, and external partners to ensure reliable product availability, strong financial performance, and exceptional customer experience.
Key Objectives and Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end Spine supply chain: demand planning, supply planning, manufacturing, inventory management, and distribution.
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned to growth, product lifecycle, and commercial priorities.
- Lead and develop global/regional teams (accountability, engagement, succession planning).
- Partner cross-functionally with Commercial, R&D, Quality, Finance, and Regulatory for new product introductions and lifecycle optimization.
- Drive continuous improvement (service levels, cost, inventory turns, supply resilience).
- Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and EHS requirements across the supply chain network.
- Manage external manufacturing and logistics partners.
- Own supply chain metrics and financial outcomes (budget, productivity).
- Anticipate and manage supply risks, disruptions, and capacity constraints.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field.
- Typically 12β14 years progressive supply chain/operations/manufacturing leadership with significant scope.
- Senior leadership experience with large cross-functional/global teams.
- End-to-end supply chain understanding in a regulated environment.
- Operational excellence, cost/service performance, financial acumen, and ability to partner with senior leaders.
- Travel up to 25%.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- MBA/advanced degree; Spine/orthopedic device portfolio experience.
- Global external manufacturing/distribution experience; transformation and digital supply chain.
- MedTech regulatory/quality/compliance experience; M&A/separation experience; strong stakeholder/change leadership.
- English required; certifications: APICS/CSCP, CPIM, Lean, Six Sigma (preferred).
Compensation:
Anticipated base pay range: $178,000.00β$307,050.00.
