Role Summary

Sr Dir OTTAVA Capital Sales - East and West, field-based US roles reporting to the General Manager, OTTAVA US. Responsible for planning, developing, and directing all aspects of the capital sales strategy for OTTAVA Platform in the US, building a growing robotics sales organization, and leading efforts to achieve revenue and market growth in a fast-growing, multi-billion-dollar market.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and direct all aspects of the capital sales strategy for OTTAVA Platform in the US based on company goals.
  • Ensure effective implementation of strategies to create long-term growth by building robotics programs with clinical support.
  • Provide people leadership to a growing capital sales organization, focusing on development, inclusion, and building capabilities for future MedTech robotics.
  • Achieve capital sales goals and quarterly revenue forecasts.
  • Deliver the capital sales strategy to drive profitable growth through procedural volume from clinical champions.
  • Lead a high-performing, agile, customer-focused sales organization; develop diverse leaders; promote inclusive workplace culture.
  • Drive talent development and Credo-based leadership.
  • Build relationships with hospital executives and opinion leaders.
  • Ensure healthcare compliance and ethical principles are practiced at all levels.
  • Develop internal and external partnerships to establish industry presence and expertise.
  • Provide weekly reports on SMART goals, KPIs, and funnel growth; manage opportunities through the sales pipeline with Ottava GM.
  • Support marketing and sales tactics to raise competition and awareness of OTTAVA in target markets.
  • Performs additional duties as needed by the business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience with complex medical capital equipment.
  • Experience growing complex medical capital equipment (hardware, software, disposables) in target markets.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams with diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, relationship development, and influence management.
  • Customer-focused with ability to build relationships across clinical and nonclinical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational leadership and ability to inspire and mobilize teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% domestically.
  • Experience with Challenger sales methodology or ability to adopt new selling styles for complex capital solutions.
