Sr. Counsel (remote)

Role: Senior Counsel - Commercial supporting emergent's legal team on complex US and global commercial matters within the biopharma sector. Responsibilities include advising on regulatory compliance (FDA, FTC, OIG), assessing risks related to healthcare laws (e.g., anti-kickback, fraud, privacy), and providing legal guidance on marketing, sales, medical, and product development activities. The role involves supporting communication strategies, contract review, internal policy development, and cross-functional collaboration with regulatory, medical, government affairs, and business units, including M&A and licensing due diligence. Requirements: JD from an ABA-accredited school, licensed in at least one US state; 5-7+ years legal experience with at least 2+ years in-house within biotech/pharma. Strong understanding of pharmaceutical law, regulatory processes, and industry standards, with excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Preferred: experience supporting international products, and working in a matrix environment.
