Sr. Business Director – Gulf Coast, AL (Immunology)
Responsibilities
- Lead a team responsible for account-based selling to HCPs prescribing and influencing disease state treatments across Lilly immunology portfolios (including dedicated dermatology and allergy practices).
- Partner with key customers to drive adoption of new and existing therapies.
- Build relationships with state/local advocacy groups, teaching institutions, key influencers, and managed care organizations.
- Lead local RHM and collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive uptake of promoted products.
- Understand the district marketplace and tailor sales strategy using business analytics aligned to corporate objectives.
- Coach stakeholders to navigate a changing healthcare environment and become a trusted partner.
- Use business insight tools, data, and analytics to identify/coaching to trends, priorities, opportunities, and obstacles.
- Lead implementation/adoption of new technologies, including integration of company-approved AI tools.
- Identify and advocate for new opportunities to enhance customer experience.
- Coach and lead for positive employee experiences.
- Build/lead a diverse, high-functioning team; recruit, develop, recognize, retain, and hold individuals accountable.
- Coach territory managers, ensure full utilization of the Virtual Medical Hub, achieve district sales/execution metrics, and build relationships with internal/external partners.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Required professional certification/licensure if required by state.
- Work authorization in the US on a full-time basis (no visa sponsorship).
Preferences
- Launch experience; proven leadership; learning agility and emotional intelligence; payer acumen.
- Business operations experience; account management experience; strategic thinking with insights/data; ability to integrate payer/brand/operational insights.
