Sr Associate Software Engineer
What You Will Do / Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, and support scalable enterprise software, platform capabilities, APIs, integrations, reports, and automation.
- Translate business/technical requirements into secure, reliable, maintainable, scalable solutions across the SDLC (design → support).
- Develop production-ready applications/services/automation using Python and SQL (plus approved scripting/workflow/low-code).
- Build and support data pipelines, transformations, integrations, and data-quality controls (e.g., Python, SQL, PySpark, Databricks, APIs).
- Develop/maintain APIs, web services, microservices, and event-driven solutions; contribute to front/back end development.
- Build/deploy containerized solutions (Docker, Kubernetes via Rafay, AWS ECR/EKS/ECS/Fargate).
- Support DevOps/CI-CD, monitoring/observability, and troubleshoot production incidents with root-cause analysis.
- Apply security controls (secrets/certs/authn/authz, access control, secure coding) and document designs, runbooks, and specs.
- Use approved AI-assisted development tools responsibly.
Qualifications:
- Education/Experience: Master’s + 3 yrs IS OR Bachelor’s + 4 yrs OR Associate’s + 6 yrs OR HS/GED + 8 yrs.
- Experience: developing/integrating/deploying/supporting enterprise software or data solutions.
- Proficient in Python and SQL; experience with cloud/data/automation/enterprise platforms.
- Strong software architecture/design patterns; debugging/investigation; Agile/Scrum; stakeholder communication.
- Must have automation (Python + PowerShell/Bash/Power Automate/Power Apps/n8n), APIs/microservices/integration experience, CI/CD & DevOps familiarity, Git/GitLab, incident response.
Good-to-have:
- Healthcare/pharma/biotech regulated delivery; Databricks/Spark/PySpark/Delta; container + infra automation/IaC; AI services/LLMs; observability/performance tooling; relevant certifications.
