SR. ASSOCIATE SCHEDULER I
What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain finite schedules for downstream manufacturing, considering equipment constraints, labor availability, campaign sequencing, product priorities, and inventory requirements.
- Monitor schedule execution; track adherence, identify risks, and drive mitigation plans to minimize delays and product impact.
- Perform capacity analyses and scenario modeling to evaluate alternative scheduling options for business decisions, demand changes, shutdowns, and new product introductions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality to resolve conflicts and ensure execution readiness.
- Drive continuous improvement to improve scheduling processes, cycle times, equipment utilization, and planning accuracy.
- Manage risk by evaluating constraints (equipment downtime, raw material availability, staffing limitations, quality events) and adjusting schedules.
- Develop and communicate KPIs for schedule adherence, manufacturing throughput, asset utilization, campaign performance, and planning accuracy.
Basic Qualifications
- High school/GED + 4 years OR Associate’s + 2 years OR Bachelor’s + 6 months OR Master’s in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Analysis, or Computer Science.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills; ability to understand and visualize production models.
- Experience with finite scheduling/production planning/supply chain scheduling.
- Ability to balance priorities and optimize schedules under constraints.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Experience in fast-paced manufacturing with changing priorities.
- Continuous improvement experience (cycle time reduction, throughput improvement, asset utilization).
