Title: Sr. Associate of Logistics / Supply Chain - International
Location: Must be located in Switzerland or Germany and can work remotely

About the Position
The Logistics / Supply Chain Associate International supports global β€œvein-to-vein” supply chain operations, focusing on international logistics execution, trade compliance support, and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end international shipments (apheresis, drug product, intermediates).
- Ensure chain-of-identity (COI) and chain-of-custody (COC) compliance.
- Prepare/review/validate shipping and customs documentation (commercial invoices, HS codes, import/export docs).
- Serve as primary operational point of contact for couriers, customs brokers, clinical sites, and manufacturing partners.
- Monitor shipments in real time; manage risks, delays, and contingencies.
- Support international trade compliance processes, including HS code classification, country of origin, and Incoterm selection.
- Support Importer/Exporter of Record (IOR/EOR) processes and audit-ready documentation/inspections.
- Coordinate with logistics providers, CDMOs, and cryopreservation partners; track vendor performance and resolve/escalate issues.
- Support clinical operations (treatment center readiness, shipping lanes/documentation, scheduling across stakeholders).
- Maintain audit-ready shipment/inventory/vendor records; support supply chain tools/tracking systems and analyze logistics data.
- Support investigations (deviations, temperature excursions, documentation discrepancies), document CAPAs with Quality, and support mitigation plans.

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
- 3–6 years logistics/supply chain experience in pharma/biotech.
- Experience with international shipments and related documentation.
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication with internal/external stakeholders.
- Conversational English and at least one additional EU language (e.g., German, French, Italian, Spanish).
Preferred
- Cell and gene therapy/advanced therapy supply chain experience.
- Cryogenic (LN2/ultra-low temperature) logistics exposure.
- Trade compliance concepts (HS codes, Incoterms, import/export).
- Experience with specialized 3PLs (Cryoport, World Courier, Marken).
- Experience with cross-border clinical supply chains (EU/US/global).
