Responsibilities
- Support OECD/BEPS tax laws efforts: monitor OECD guidance impacts (cash/ETR), track Pillar Two adoption by jurisdiction, revamp compliance workpapers as needed, support Pillar 2/GloBE compliance and forecasting, and support existing BEPS compliance.
- Partner to assess BEPS impact on business/strategic plans; support external auditor review of Pillar 2 (and Pillar 1 if enacted).
- Analyze and recommend on new tax disclosure requirements (including public CbCR and ESG-related guidelines); support legal entity structure and intercompany transaction planning to simplify compliance.
- Prepare documentation of key positions.
- Prepare and manage OECD private CbCR (Tables 1–3) and support EU public CbCR filings (incl. deadlines); support Australian public CbCR filings.
- Maintain/enhance Total Tax Contribution dashboard (data collection from affiliates; peer benchmarking).
- Support global tax affiliate liaisons: special projects, foreign tax audit/controversy tracking, affiliate compliance requests, foreign audit/APAs responses, and provision workpaper rollout for large sales affiliates.
- Support tax process improvement and digital transformation (tax automation and AI-enabled workflows).

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance/related.
- 3+ years tax experience (public accounting and/or corporate tax).
- CPA or working toward CPA.
- Authorization to work in the United States full-time; Lilly does not sponsor visas.

Additional Skills/Preferences
- SAP and OneSource tax software; strong Excel.
- Interest in tax technology/AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Power Apps, Claude).
- Tax research; strong written/oral communication; organization/self-management; interpersonal skills.

Additional Information
- Minimal travel; overtime required at peak project times.
