Role Summary

Senior Analyst, Field Operations supporting design, development, and training of commercial reporting systems for Neurocrine field teams (Sales, Market Access, and Medical) and key home office users. Ensures field reporting, HCP targeting and alignment processes, and ad hoc analytics are accurate, efficient, and aligned with business objectives. Investigates data inquiries, performs quality checks on commercial reports, synthesizes insights from multiple systems, and helps develop data literacy across the organization. Partners with Field Operations, Data Management, Commercial Analytics, and field users to support the commercial reporting and field execution strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and continuously improve commercial reporting systems and dashboards to support Field Operations
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across multiple sources including CRM, Sales, Specialty Pharmacy, Claims, and Roster data
  • Build ad hoc reports and analytical summaries by integrating multiple data sources to address business questions and field leadership needs
  • Perform data investigations and root-cause analyses for field sales inquiries, communicating resolutions timely
  • Support and maintain targeting workflows, territory design, roster updates, and change management processes
  • Validate call plan assignments and communicate the impact of alignment changes on reporting and field execution
  • Develop and deliver training materials for commercial reporting users and enhance data fluency across field and home office teams
  • Translate technical data concepts into clear business language for non-technical audiences
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Field Operations, Data Management, Commercial Analytics, Compliance, and Finance; maintain relationships with key vendors
  • Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and enhanced data visualization while ensuring policy/compliance standards

Qualifications

  • BS/BA with 4+ years of relevant sales/marketing analytics or operations experience in pharma/biotech or related industry; or Master’s degree with 2+ years of similar experience
  • Strong knowledge of biopharmaceutical market data (Specialty Pharmacy data, IMS, SHS) and biopharmaceutical commercial systems
  • Ability to convert analytics into clear presentations; experience with statistical analyses and using secondary data to generate insights
  • Experience managing vendors of biopharma commercial systems and sales force analytics capabilities
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic environment with multi-hat responsibilities
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills with senior management; strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Preferred: experience with MDM, CRM systems (Salesforce, Veeva), analytical tools, Excel/Excel VBA, process mapping, SQL, targeting/alignment applications, PM software (e.g., JIRA), Databricks, BI/reporting platforms (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Understanding of key business drivers; awareness of downstream impacts on other functions
  • Proficiency with tools and processes for the role; ability to work in a team and potentially train others

Education

  • BS/BA required; Master’s degree preferred
