Sr. Accountant - Source To Settle

Role: Senior Accountant I in Source to Settle (STS), providing operational leadership and strategic oversight for the North America customer service framework within Gilead's finance operations. Responsibilities: ensure accurate, timely processing of supplier invoices; drive process standardization, controls, and continuous improvement; partner with global STS teams to optimize workflows; manage stakeholder expectations; support compliance with SOX and internal policies; lead issue resolution and supplier engagement; monitor inflight transactions and aged payables; collaborate with procurement and finance stakeholders to enhance process performance; and provide guidance to offshore teams. Requirements: Bachelor's degree with 5+ years or Master's with 3+ years in finance or shared services, with experience in Accounts Payable, P2P, or finance operations; proficiency with Oracle EBS, SAP, Ariba, and VIM; strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills; knowledge of US GAAP and SOX controls. Preferred: biotech/pharma industry experience, process improvement, automation expertise, and experience leading global cross-functional initiatives.
