Sr. Accountant

Role: Senior Accountant supporting core accounting operations within a biopharma public company, focusing on accounts payable, general ledger, monthly close, SOX compliance, and process improvements. Responsibilities: manage vendor invoicing, purchase order processing, ensure compliance with internal controls, prepare journal entries, reconciliations, support audit readiness, and drive process efficiencies. Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong US GAAP knowledge, proficiency in Excel and SaaS platforms (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Bill.com, etc.), with preferred experience in public biotech or medtech companies supporting SOX compliance. High-Value: public biopharma environment, SOX/internal controls focus, hands-on operational accounting, experience with regulated industries, hybrid work model with a minimum of 3 days in-office. Collaboration: cross-functional support within finance, external auditors. Work setup: hybrid, with travel if required.
