Sr. Accountant

Role: Senior Accountant supporting core accounting activities and financial reporting at Viridian, contributing to monthly close, journal entries, reconciliations, and internal controls. Responsibilities: manage accruals and prepaid expenses, lead accrual meetings, prepare and post journal entries, support financial statements and audit processes, assist with SOX compliance, and collaborate with FP&A and other teams for accurate reporting. Qualifications: 5+ years accounting experience, Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, CPA preferred; public accounting or biotech industry experience advantageous. High-Value: experience with US GAAP, public companies, biotech or pharma industry, month-end close, internal controls, and external audits. WorkSetup: on-site in Waltham, MA, with a three-day in-office requirement.
