The Specialty Sales Representative will drive launch excellence for Arrowheadβs cardiometabolic portfolio by driving prescriber activation, accelerating adoption, and ensuring sustained utilization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute data-driven territory business plans aligned to brand strategy and launch objectives.
- Analyze territory data (prescribing trends, account potential, access landscape) to identify growth opportunities and prioritize targets.
- Manage territory budget (e.g., speaker programs, promotional initiatives) and consistently achieve/exceed sales goals.
- Provide compliant, clinically accurate product education within approved labeling.
- Present complex clinical data and tailor value propositions to cardiologists, lipid specialists, endocrinologists, and targeted PCPs.
- Execute speaker programs, educational events, and peer-to-peer engagements.
- Support patient identification and therapy initiation through provider engagement.
- Build and maintain trust-based relationships with HCPs and stakeholders; coordinate within IDNs with Key Account Managers.
- Identify access barriers and partner with Market Access and patient services to support pull-through.
- Maintain compliance; accurately document activity and manage CRM reporting.
- Travel to regional/national meetings and conferences (~30%).
Qualifications/Skills
- Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical sales experience (required).
- 3+ years in specialty/rare disease/cardiovascular (strongly preferred).
- Experience launching/expanding complex therapies with access navigation and clinical depth.
- IDN/complex healthcare systems experience (preferred).
- Strong territory planning/account management; data-driven mindset.
- Ability to interpret/communicate complex clinical data; excellent communication/presentation.
- High business acumen, resilience/adaptability, strong organizational skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $160,000β$180,000 plus incentive (20β30% target bonus).
