Specialty Sales Consultant (Sleep Franchise)

Responsibilities:
- Educate physicians and other healthcare professionals on Jazz products and approved indications.
- Achieve individual sales goals and productivity objectives.
- Organize and facilitate meetings for exchange of medical/product information in line with company policies and regulatory/legal requirements.
- Analyze the assigned territory’s prescribing/decision processes and differences vs. national trends.
- Use available resources to educate HCP and staff on products.
- Manage patient flow challenges from prescription to insurance criteria and patient access.
- Identify key physicians, healthcare providers, and organizations in the territory.
- Prepare a business plan and territory tactical plan; implement approved plans on established timelines.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with HCP identified in business plans.
- Work cross-functionally with MSL, Managed Market, and Access & Reimbursement teams to meet physician, HCP, and patient needs compliantly.
- Present a positive/professional company image consistent with ethical pharmaceutical marketing policies and procedures.
- Comply with applicable federal/state legal and regulatory guidelines.
- Perform activities within allocated budget.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills:
- Four-year college/university degree or equivalent (required).
- Post-graduate business study/training (preferred).
- 5+ years pharmaceutical sales (preferred); 2+ years specialist sales in relevant areas (neurology/pulmonology/psychiatry/sleep) (preferred).
- Orphan/rare disease sales experience (beneficial).
- Relationships with hospitals/sleep labs and relevant specialists (preferred).
- Hospital/account experience with closed-access account navigation (preferred).
- Sleep/CNS therapeutic sales (preferred); retail + specialty pharmacy experience (preferred).
- REMS/hub or central pharmacy experience (helpful).
- Strong knowledge of products/competitors and disease states; payer landscape/managed care criteria (desired).
- Launch product planning/execution (beneficial).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning/organizational skills; self-motivated; able to travel up to 75%.
