The Specialty Sales Consultant (Neuroscience) is responsible for direct promotion of Jazz Pharmaceuticals’ products and for developing and managing business relationships with therapeutic specialists within an assigned geographical territory. This role implements marketing strategies and tactics to achieve short- and long-term objectives (Sleep Business Unit; reports to a Regional Sales Manager).

Responsibilities:
- Educate physicians and HCPs on products and approved indications.
- Achieve individual sales goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Organize and facilitate meetings for exchange of medical/product information per policies, regulatory, and legal requirements.
- Analyze territory business to understand prescribing/decision processes versus national trends.
- Use available resources to educate and influence HCPs and staff.
- Help offices navigate prescription flow (REMS forms to insurance criteria to patient receiving product).
- Prepare and execute a business and territory tactical plan, including cross-functional collaboration.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with physicians and other HCPs.
- Work with cross-functional partners (MSL, Managed Market, Access and Reimbursement) to meet physician, HCP, and patient needs compliantly.
- Maintain a positive, professional image aligned with ethical marketing policies.
- Comply with applicable federal and state regulatory guidelines.
- Execute and report activities within allocated budget.

Qualifications/Requirements (Essential):
- Minimum five years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Four-year college/university degree (or equivalent).

Qualifications/Requirements (Preferred):
- Pharmaceutical sales experience and bilingual English/Spanish.
- Relationships with hospitals, sleep labs, neurologists, pulmonologists, and sleep specialists in aligned territory.
- Hospital/account-based and closed access account navigation.
- Sleep/CNS therapeutic sales experience.
- Specialty and/or orphan/rare disease sales experience.
- REMS/hub or central pharmacy experience; Buy and Bill experience.
- At least two years of specialist sales experience (e.g., neurologists, pulmonologists, psychiatrists, sleep specialists).
- Strong product/disease-state and payer landscape knowledge; managed care criteria discussion.
- Experience planning/executing launch and push/pull strategies (live or virtual).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills; self-motivation; team-oriented.
