Role Summary

Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative - Primary Care (Rockford, IL) with coverage across Madison, WI; Rockford, IL; Elgin, IL. Relocation not offered.

Responsibilities

  • Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products and effectively communicate clinical benefits to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization
  • Lead territory sales by delivering branded messages, conducting planned programs, scheduling and following up with medical educational programs, and achieving or exceeding sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement
  • Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, tailoring discussions to customer needs, ensuring product access, resolving reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts
  • Provide feedback on marketing strategy, analyze sales activities, conduct territory analysis, and develop territory plans with the District Manager
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative
  • Demonstrate passion for products and sustain it through the sales cycle while building the brand and serving patients

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's degree with 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED with 6 years of Sales experience (Specialty Representative)
  • Bachelorβ€šΓ„Γ΄s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field OR Associate degree with 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience OR High school diploma/GED with 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience (Senior Specialty Representative)
  • Preferred: 1β€šΓ„Γ¬3 years of sales, marketing, or clinical experience; product or hospital sales experience across relevant specialties; strong communication and relationship-building skills; curiosity, resilience, and adaptability; entrepreneurial mindset
