Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary customer contact; implement marketing strategy and promote Amgen cardiovascular products (as led by District Manager).
- Provide current/product knowledge and communicate clinical benefits to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
- Achieve territory sales by delivering branded messages, conducting planned programs, scheduling/following up on medical educational programs, and meeting/exceeding sales targets via in-person and virtual engagement.
- Build/manage accounts: tailor discussions to customer needs, ensure product access, resolve/triage reimbursement issues, and maintain product contracts.
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy; analyze sales effectiveness/territory performance; develop territory plans with District Manager.
- Share best practices and continuously learn/grow.
- Uphold Amgen values (science-based, ethical, accountable, collaboration).

Basic Qualifications:
Specialty Representative:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree OR Associate degree + 4 years sales OR High school/GED + 6 years sales.
Senior Specialty Representative:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree + 3 years sales and/or healthcare/scientific clinical experience (non-sales) OR Associate + 6 years (non-sales) OR High school/GED + 8 years (non-sales).

Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device sales (product or hospital) in relevant specialties; local market knowledge; established territory relationships; BS in Life Sciences or Business Admin; adaptability to core competencies.
