Role Summary

Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative - Bone Health in St. Petersburg, FL. Territory includes Clearwater, Largo, Oldsmar, Pinellas Park, Safety Harbor, Seminole, and Tampa. Relocation not offered.

Responsibilities

  • Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products and effectively communicate clinical benefits to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
  • Lead in territory sales by delivering branded messages, conducting planned programs, coordinating medical educational programs, and achieving or exceeding sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement.
  • Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, tailor discussions to customer needs, ensure product access, resolve reimbursement issues, and maintain product contracts.
  • Provide feedback on marketing strategy, analyze sales activities and territory performance, and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative.
  • Demonstrate passion for products and sustain it throughout the sales cycle while strengthening the brand and serving patients.

Qualifications

  • Basic Qualifications (Specialty Representative): Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's degree and 4 years of sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of sales experience.
  • Basic Qualifications (Senior Specialty Representative): Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of sales experience OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales experience.
  • Preferred: Sales, marketing and/or clinical experience in pharma/biotech/diagnostics/healthcare industries; some leadership experience; 3+ years for Senior; product or hospital sales in oncology, cardiology, inflammation, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, bone health, respiratory, hematology, or infectious diseases; strong influencing skills; local market knowledge; life sciences or business degree; adaptability with core competencies in Sales Planning, Knowledge, Communication, Results, and Relationships.
