This role is field-based; candidates should live within a reasonable distance of Gainesville, Daytona Beach, Ocala. Talent will be hired at a level commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities:
- Execute brand strategy/tactics in the field; manage assigned territory and targeted accounts.
- Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, and financial/marketing objectives.
- Create pre-call plans with SMART objectives; perform post-call evaluation to improve performance; handle objections and drive calls to action.
- Proactively serve customer needs and build trusted relationships to reach win-win agreements.
- Develop and execute call plans to meet call metrics and optimize coverage/frequency.
- Build and share market/disease/product/competitive intelligence to optimize brand strategy.
- Differentiate value proposition; identify/develop disease state experts and speakers/advocates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in health/sciences/pharmacy/business preferred; OR 5+ years relevant pharmaceutical/health/science experience (3+ years preferred) + high school diploma/GED.
- Proven sales success and strong presentation skills; adapt selling approach; offer innovative solutions.
- Credible, collaborative leader with documented experience supporting increased responsibility.
- Preferred: success in therapeutic-area sales; physician/account-based selling and/or managed healthcare/training/marketing experience.
- Meet HCIR credentialing requirements to enter facilities (background checks, drug screens, immunization/vaccination proof, fingerprinting, state/city licenses).
- In-depth scientific/therapeutic/product/competitive knowledge; strong business acumen; works in matrix environments.
- Ability to drive (valid driver’s license, pass pre-employment drug screening, meet safe driving requirements); personal or company vehicle/material handling equipment.
