This role is field-based. Candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city. Geography: Gainesville, Daytona Beach, Ocala.

Responsibilities:
- Execute brand strategy and tactics in the field; manage assigned territory and targeted accounts.
- Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, and financial targets; achieve marketing objectives.
- Create SMART pre-call plans; perform post-call evaluations; handle objections and close sales calls.
- Build trusted customer relationships by proactively addressing customer needs and challenges.
- Develop and execute call plans to meet call metrics and optimize coverage/frequency.
- Understand customer needs, market/competitor landscape, accounts, disease, product, and clinical/sales expertise; share intelligence to align on brand strategy.
- Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition; identify and develop disease state experts and speakers/advocates.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in health/sciences/pharmacy/business preferred; or 5+ years relevant industry experience (3+ years preferred) with a high school diploma/GED required.
- Proven sales success and strong presentation skills; adapts selling approach; provides innovative solutions.
- Influences others; collaborative leadership; peer coaching.
- Documented leadership/success with increasing responsibility (district/region/organizational levels).
- Preferred: therapeutic area sales success; commercial pharma experience (physician/account-based selling, training, managed health care, or marketing).
- Essential: satisfy HCIR credentialing requirements to enter facilities; may include background checks, drug screens, immunization/vaccination proof, fingerprinting, and licenses.
- Demonstrated scientific/therapeutic/product/competitive knowledge; business acumen; works in a matrix environment.
- Driving: personal or company vehicle/equipment; valid driver’s license; pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
