Execute brand strategy and tactics in the field, effectively manage assigned territory and targeted accounts, build strong customer relationships, and solve customer needs to maximize short- and long-term sales performance, placing the patient at the center of efforts and operating within company code of conduct, policies, and applicable laws/regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives.
- Create pre-call plans; execute post-call evaluations to improve performance; handle objections and drive logical calls to action to close.
- Proactively identify and serve customer needs and expectations to build trusted relationships and win-win agreements.
- Develop and execute call plans to achieve call metrics and optimize coverage/frequency.
- Build and share market intelligence (customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, disease/product/clinical and sales expertise) with in-field and brand/sales leadership to align and optimize brand execution.
- Differentiate the value proposition; identify, develop, and maintain disease state experts and speakers/advocates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in health/sciences/pharmacy/business preferred; or equivalent industry experience required.
- In lieu of a bachelor’s degree: at least 5 years relevant experience (3+ years preferred) in pharmaceutical/health/science; high school diploma/GED required.
- Matrix environment effectiveness; adaptable selling approach; strong business acumen and strategic/critical thinking.
- Demonstrated scientific/therapeutic/product/competitive knowledge; credible expert and collaborator.
- Preferred: proven sales performance track record; physician/account-based selling, training, managed health care, or marketing experience; English proficiency for non-English countries.
- Must satisfy HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing/eligible.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
