Responsibilities:
- Execute brand strategy/tactics in the field; manage assigned territory and targeted accounts; build customer relationships and solve customer needs to maximize short- and long-term sales.
- Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, and financial/marketing objectives.
- Create pre-call plans, conduct post-call evaluations, handle objections/concerns, and secure next-step actions on each sales call.
- Build trusted relationships and win-win agreements by proactively addressing customer needs.
- Develop and execute call plans to meet call metrics and optimize coverage/frequency for key customers.
- Gather and share market intelligence (customer needs, competitors, segments, disease/product/clinical expertise) to improve brand strategy.
- Differentiate value proposition and develop/maintain disease state experts and speakers/advocates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs in health/sciences/pharmacy/business preferred; otherwise 5+ years relevant industry experience with 3+ years in pharma/health/science; high school diploma/GED required.
- Leadership success, strong presentation skills, business acumen, strategic/critical thinking.
- Adaptable selling approach; effective in matrix environments.
- Preferred: Sales success in relevant therapeutic areas; experience in physician/account selling, training, managed healthcare or marketing; in-depth scientific/therapeutic/product/competitive knowledge; English proficiency (for non-English countries).
- Required: Satisfy HCIR credentialing requirements; valid driverโs license; ability to pass drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
