Role Responsibilities (Field-Based):
- Execute brand strategy and tactics in the field; effectively manage assigned territory and targeted accounts.
- Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, and financial targets/marketing objectives.
- Create pre-call plan objectives and execute post-call evaluations to continuously improve; handle objections and drive logical, reasonable calls to action to close.
- Proactively serve customer needs and build trusted relationships to reach win-win agreements.
- Develop and execute call plans that meet call metrics and optimize coverage/frequency for key customers.
- Build and share market intelligence (customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, disease/product/clinical and sales expertise) to align teams and optimize brand execution.
- Differentiate value proposition with assigned health providers; identify, develop, and maintain disease state experts and speakers/advocates.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in health/sciences/pharmacy/business preferred; equivalent industry experience required.
- In lieu of a bachelor’s: at least 5 years pharmaceutical/health/science experience (3+ years preferred) and high school diploma/GED.
- Proven leadership success and solid presentation skills; business acumen; strategic/critical thinking; proficient business tools.
- Ability to adapt selling approach based on customer behavior; effective in a matrix environment.
- Preferred sales success in relevant therapeutic areas; experience in physician/account-based selling, training, managed health care, or marketing.
- Preferred in-depth scientific/therapeutic/product/competitive knowledge as an expert resource; English proficiency for non-English-speaking countries.
- Must satisfy HCIR credentialing requirements to enter facilities/organizations; must be in good standing/eligible to obtain credentials.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
