Responsibilities
- Execute brand strategy/tactics in the field; manage assigned territory and targeted accounts to maximize short- and long-term sales performance.
- Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives.
- Use SMART pre-call planning and post-call evaluations; handle objections and drive logical, reasonable calls to action.
- Build trusted customer relationships and win-win agreements by proactively serving customer needs.
- Develop and execute call plans to meet call metrics and optimize coverage/frequency for key customers.
- Build knowledge of customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, disease/product/clinical expertise; share market intelligence to optimize brand strategy execution.
- Differentiate value proposition; develop and maintain disease state experts and speakers/advocates.

Qualifications (Required/Preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in health/sciences/pharmacy/business preferred; relevant equivalent experience required.
- If no bachelor’s: 5+ years experience with 3+ years in pharma/health/science preferred; high school diploma/GED required.
- Proven sales success; strong presentation skills; strategic/critical thinking; matrix experience.
- Valid driver’s license; pass pre-employment drug screening; meet safe driving requirements.
- Ability to travel and attend overnight training/sales meetings; drive personal or company vehicle/equipment.
- Preferred: sales success in therapeutic areas; physician/account-based selling, managed care, or marketing experience.
- HCIR credentialing required to enter facilities in assigned territory.
