Role Summary
Clinical Specialist role in the Richmond, VA β North territory. The Clinical Specialist calls on practicing physicians, hospitals, clinics and other health-related organizations to provide current information on Indivior products and their approved indications, ensuring appropriate use and maximizing the territory's business potential. Accomplishments must comply with the companyβs policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Invest the time and effort to achieve established goals for the territory, including sales, market share, doctor calls, and program planning.
- Monitor and analyze territory results, maintaining an up-to-date business plan that evaluates sales effectiveness.
- Ensure all required documentation and reports are timely and accurate.
- Demonstrate a strong clinical understanding of all aspects of Indivior products and related disease states.
- Communicate product information in a clear, concise, and accurate manner.
- Plan and organize daily sales call activities to optimize time use and maximize sales objectives.
- Demonstrate persistence to accomplish objectives despite setbacks or rejection.
- Create and maintain a positive impression with customers.
- Project a professional business image through neat appearance and appropriate speech.
- Maintain timely communication with the Area Sales Manager and other sales leadership.
- Conduct field work with the Area Sales Manager and other Indivior personnel.
- Maintain all company-provided equipment in good operating condition.
- Attend sales training meetings, including overnight sessions as required.
- Recognize changes in the work environment and implement alternate plans to achieve objectives.
- Represent Indivior at national and/or local conferences when applicable.
- Perform special projects and assignments as directed by the Sales Leadership team.
Qualifications
- Required: BS/BA degree; 1+ years of pharmaceutical/medical/healthcare or related experience
- Preferred: Injectable experience
- Preferred: Specialty Pharmacy and Specialty Distributor experience
- Preferred: Experience with selling complex specialty and buy-and-bill products
- Preferred: Experience selling a drug, device or technology that required a change in physician protocol
- Required: Valid driverβs license
- Required: Strong customer focus with demonstrated teamwork/collaboration
- Required: Computer proficiency
- Required: Working knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry
