Role Summary

The Specialty Networks Director leads business development for assigned specialty networks to improve healthcare through diagnostic and therapeutic oncology solutions that enhance clinical outcomes. This role drives a coherent strategy, optimizes resources, strengthens current strategic relationships, builds new partnerships, leads project management activities, coordinates resources, and develops quarterly and yearly sales operating plans designed to exceed corporate goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with strategically important partners within assigned networks
  • Leverage project management expertise to guide efforts and coordinate resources to creatively integrate and provide solutions to maximize market potential
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Create an environment of collaboration, uniting cross-functional teams around common goals for strategically important partnerships
  • Develop, execute, and lead rolling multi-year, multi-faceted strategies to acquire and retain customers
  • Ensure all financial metrics and performance exceed corporate goals
  • Develop in-depth knowledge including key competitors, terminology, technology, trends, and challenges through network relationships and other sources to continuously increase market knowledge and proactively respond to changing market conditions

Qualifications

  • Required: 10+ years of account management experience
  • Required: In-depth knowledge of contract development, negotiations, execution, and implementation
  • Required: Project management leadership
  • Required: Ability to motivate cross-functional teams
  • Required: Proven comprehension in developing and driving strategic plans from concept to revenue generation
  • Required: Experience working with third-party partnerships
  • Required: Proficiency in coordinating activities across multiple functional areas and multiple companies
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or degree of higher education
  • Preferred: Experience in Nuclear Medicine, Oncology or Urology
  • Preferred: Knowledge of the US Specialty GPO, LUGPA, and vertically integrated networks
  • Preferred: Knowledge of Salesforce.com
  • Preferred: Accomplished leader with executive management experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or higher education preferred
