Role: Specialty Development Executive responsible for selling laboratory testing services within the Genetics and Women's Healthcare sectors, including IVF clinics and reproductive specialists, primarily in Long Beach and South Los Angeles. Objectives: achieve sales goals, develop and execute business plans, build a sales pipeline, and grow revenue in the assigned territory.
Responsibilities: prospecting and cold calling, maintaining a forecasted sales funnel aligned with a 90-day quota, managing travel to optimize productivity, collaborating with clinical sales teams, providing customer support and education, executing in-services and training, and maintaining customer data in CRM systems.
Qualifications: minimum of 5 years' medical outside sales experience; high school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in women’s health, genetics, laboratory or diagnostics sales, and existing relationships with IVF clinics, reproductive endocrinologists, hospitals, or reference labs are highly desirable.
Skills and qualities: proven sales success, consultative selling, strong communication skills, ability to understand complex scientific and clinical data, driver’s license, and ability to travel up to 50%. Must excel in collaboration and customer relationship management.
