Specialty Business Manager (Fayetteville, AR) โ€” Gastroenterology Specialty Sales Team

How you will contribute:
- Research prospective Health Care Professionals (HCPs) and identify customer stakeholders to present complex clinical and business information.
- Use consultative selling to educate HCPs and link insights to Takeda solutions.
- Engage in clinical discussions, execute brand strategies, maximize sales growth in a specific geography, coach stakeholders, and build consensus.
- Collaborate with partners on routing and resource utilization.
- Strategize to solve deal-level challenges.
- Attend company-sponsored sales and medical meetings as directed.
- Pursue learning and professional development in sales, communication, and product knowledge.
- Conduct business in accordance with all regulations/policies; demonstrate high ethical and professional standards.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs).

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree (BS/BA).
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Ability to discuss therapeutic strategies and influence decision makers.
- Ability to apply clinical/business expertise and effective selling skills.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.

Preferred:
- 5+ years related selling experience.
- Local marketing strategy execution; business/strategic planning; managed care understanding.
- Collaboration skills.
- Experience with injectable/infused IBD products; complex reimbursement; biological launch.
- Experience calling on Gastroenterologists.

Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driverโ€™s License.

Travel:
- Drive/fly to meetings and client sites; some overnight travel (25โ€“50%).

Training requirements:
- Must pass mandatory product training (written/oral exams). Initial non-exempt status during training; transition to exempt status after passing exams.
