Specialty Business Manager (Jackson, MS territory)

How you will contribute:
- Research prospective Health Care Professionals (HCPs) to identify key stakeholders.
- Use consultative selling to present complex clinical/business information and link to Takeda solutions.
- Conduct clinical discussions to address patients’ needs, execute brand strategies, and grow sales in assigned geography; coach stakeholders and build consensus.
- Collaborate with partners to optimize routing and resource utilization.
- Strategize to solve deal-level challenges.
- Attend company-sponsored sales/medical meetings.
- Pursue ongoing learning and professional development.
- Conduct business in accordance with regulations/policies; maintain high ethical standards.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs).

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA).
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device (or relevant clinical/industry experience) OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Ability to discuss therapeutic strategies to influence decision makers.
- Ability to apply clinical/business expertise and selling skills.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Reside within or near assigned geography.

Preferred:
- 5 years relevant selling experience.
- Local marketing execution; business/strategic planning; managed care understanding.
- Team collaboration.
- Injectable/infused IBD (IBD) product experience; complex reimbursement experience; biological launch; experience calling on Gastroenterologists.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Valid Driver’s License
TRAVEL: Drive/fly as needed; some overnight travel (25–50%).
TRAINING: Mandatory product training with written/oral exams; during training may be non-exempt/eligible for overtime; after passing, transitioned to exempt status.
