Job Title: Specialty Business Manager (Gastroenterology) β Jackson, MS territory (Mississippi - Virtual)
Responsibilities:
- Research prospective Health Care Professionals (HCPs) and identify customer stakeholders.
- Use consultative selling to present complex clinical/business information and link customer needs to Takeda solutions.
- Conduct clinical discussions, execute brand strategies, maximize sales growth in assigned geography, coach stakeholders, and build consensus.
- Collaborate with partners on routing and resource utilization to maximize footprint performance.
- Strategize to solve deal-level challenges.
- Attend company-sponsored sales and medical meetings as directed.
- Pursue continuous learning and professional development in sales and product knowledge.
- Conduct business in accordance with regulations, policies, and ethical standards.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (financial/budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office, etc.).
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree (BS/BA).
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical devices and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years successful selling experience at Takeda.
- Ability to discuss therapeutic strategies and influence decision makers.
- Ability to develop/apply clinical and business expertise and effective selling skills.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years related selling experience.
- Local execution of marketing strategies; business/strategic planning.
- Understanding of managed care landscape.
- Collaboration/team success.
- Experience with injectable/infused IBD products; complex reimbursement.
- Biological product launch; calling on Gastroenterologists.
Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driverβs License
Travel: Drive/fly to meetings; some overnight travel (25β50%).
Training: Mandatory product training with written/oral exams.
