Specialty Business Manager (Gastroenterology Specialty Sales Team) โ Cincinnati, OH territory (Ohio โ Virtual)
How you will contribute:
- Research prospective HCPs to identify stakeholders and present complex clinical/business product information.
- Use consultative selling to educate HCPs and link insights to Takeda solutions.
- Conduct clinical discussions on patientsโ needs, execute brand strategies, maximize sales growth in geography; coach stakeholders and build consensus.
- Collaborate on routing and resource utilization to maximize footprint performance.
- Strategize to solve deal-level challenges.
- Attend company-sponsored sales and medical meetings as directed.
- Pursue ongoing learning and professional development.
- Execute business in accordance with regulations/policies; maintain high ethical standards.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs).
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelorโs degree (BS/BA).
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device (or relevant clinical/industry experience), OR 2+ years at Takeda.
- Ability to discuss therapeutic strategies; develop/apply clinical and business expertise; strong verbal/influencing/presentation/written communication.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5 years related selling experience; local marketing strategy execution.
- Business/strategic planning; understanding managed care.
- Collaboration; injectable/infused IBD product experience; complex reimbursement experience.
- Biological product launch; experience calling on gastroenterologists.
Travel Requirements:
- Drive/fly to meetings/client sites; 25โ50% overnight travel.
Training Requirements:
- Must pass mandatory product training (written/oral exams).
