How you will contribute:
- Research prospective HCPs to identify stakeholders and present complex clinical/business information for Gastroenterology products and services.
- Use insight and consultative selling to educate HCPs and link perspectives to solutions.
- Conduct clinical discussions to address patients’ needs, execute brand strategies, maximize sales growth in assigned geography, coach stakeholders, and build consensus.
- Collaborate with partners on routing and resource utilization.
- Independently and collaboratively strategize to solve deal-level challenges.
- Attend company-sponsored sales/medical meetings as directed.
- Pursue ongoing learning and professional development.
- Perform business in accordance with regulations/policies; maintain high ethical/professional standards.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., financial/budgets, managed markets, medical affairs).
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA).
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device (or relevant clinical/industry experience); OR 2+ years at Takeda.
- Ability to discuss therapeutic strategies and influence decision makers.
- Ability to apply clinical/business expertise and effective selling skills.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.
Preferred
- 5+ years sales experience; local marketing execution.
- Business/strategic planning; understanding managed care.
- Collaboration; experience with injectable/infused IBD products and complex reimbursement.
- Biological product launch; experience calling on Gastroenterologists.
Travel:
- Ability to drive/fly; some overnight travel (25–50%).
Training:
- Must pass mandatory product training (written/oral exams).
Compensation/Benefits (if applicable):
