About the Role
- Drive demand post-potential regulatory approval through education in Dermatology.
- Educate healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimize business opportunities in targeted physician offices, clinics, and hospital accounts specializing in Dermatology.
- Deliver business processes that benefit patients and achieve sales goals.

How you will contribute
- Support account onboarding and initial clinical/patient access education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Coordinate clinical education (including peer-to-peer), and perform account management within Dermatology practices/clinics/outlets and independent physician offices.
- Attain territory sales goals/metrics; execute franchise and brand strategy and tactics.
- Build relationships with decision makers/stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials and clinical information; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies to build engagement and educate local decision makers.
- Present complex clinical/business information to office/institutional Dermatologists and relevant groups.
- Develop and implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states, treatments, and market changes.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office).
- Adhere to Takeda compliance policies, guidelines, and training.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
Required
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology experience calling on Dermatologists highly preferred.
- Strategic/business planning skills; understanding of managed care landscape.
- Strong communication, presentation, collaboration.
- Reside within or near assigned geography.

Preferred
- 5+ years direct selling to healthcare professionals (pharma/biotech/device/healthcare) and/or relevant clinical/industry experience.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.

Licenses/Certifications
- Valid Driver’s License.

Travel
- Ability to drive/fly; up to 25–50% overnight travel.

Compensation (if applicable)
- Illinois (Virtual) U.S. hourly wage range: $63.51–$87.31. U.S. employees may be eligible for short-term incentives and benefits (e.g., medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation/sick time).
