About the Role / Responsibilities:
- Drive demand for an assigned product through education and clinical selling.
- Educate healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimize business opportunities in dermatology physician offices, clinics, and hospital accounts.
- Support account onboarding; provide initial clinical and patient access education.
- Coordinate clinical education (e.g., peer-to-peer) and conduct account management.
- Attain sales goals/territory metrics; execute franchise and brand strategy tactics.
- Build relationships with decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical info and approved materials.
- Present complex clinical/business information; develop and sponsor medical education programs.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, etc.).
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology experience highly preferred.
- Strategic planning, managed care understanding, strong communication, collaboration, and residency near assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs.
- Experience calling on dermatologists.
- Experience managing complex reimbursement issues.
Training:
- Contingent on passing mandatory product training (written/oral).
