About the Role:
The Dermatology Specialty Business Manager (SBM) drives demand for assigned products through education following potential regulatory approval. Responsibilities focus on educating healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimizing opportunities in targeted dermatology physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts.

How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Perform account management in dermatology practices, clinics, outlets, and independent offices.
- Achieve sales goals/territory metrics; execute brand strategy/tactics within the assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials/reprints; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies and build customer engagement.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists and other decision-making groups.
- Develop and sponsor medical education opportunities; stay current on disease states/treatments.
- Manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs).
- Follow compliance policies/training and seek clarification when needed.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Required:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling (or relevant clinical/industry experience); OR 2+ years selling at Takeda.
- Dermatology/Dermatologist calling experience highly preferred.
- Business/strategic planning; understanding of managed care.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication.
- Strong collaboration/team success.
- Live within or close proximity to assigned geography.

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs.
- Dermatologist calling experience.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.

Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License.

Travel Requirements:
- Ability to drive/fly to accounts; occasional business meetings; up to 25–50% overnight travel as needed.
