Responsibilities:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Perform clinical selling: deliver the clinical value proposition and advance customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate and support clinical education opportunities (e.g., peer-to-peer education).
- Conduct account management in Dermatology practices, clinics/outlets, and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals and objectives (product volume and key territory metrics) and execute franchise/company brand strategy and tactics.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers, support staff, and stakeholders to support safe and effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information, approved materials, and medical reprints.
- Present complex clinical and business information to office/institutional Dermatologists and other decision-making groups.
- Develop and implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (financial/budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office, etc.).
- Adhere to all compliance policies, guidelines, and training.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device (or relevant clinical/industry experience); OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Strong communication, influencing, presentation (verbal/written), and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated business/strategic planning skills; understanding of managed care.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to healthcare professionals.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.
Travel:
- Drive/fly to accounts and occasional meetings; overnight travel up to 25β50%.
Training:
- Must pass mandatory product training (written and oral exams); initial non-exempt status during training with overtime eligibility only during training period.
Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- U.S. hourly wage range: $63.51β$87.31. Potential eligibility for short-term incentives and benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, holidays, well-being benefits, up to 80 hours sick time/year, and up to 120 hours paid vacation for new hires.
