Responsibilities:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across an educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education programs for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Manage Dermatology accounts in practices/clinics/hospital outlets and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals and territory metrics; execute franchise/company brand strategy and tactics within the assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messaging using approved materials and medical reprints; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies; build customer engagement by identifying/cultivating relationships and educating key decision makers.
- Present complex clinical and business information to Dermatologists and healthcare/professional groups.
- Develop and implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (financial/budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, etc.).
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs (BA/BS).
- 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling (or relevant clinical/industry experience) OR 2+ years successful selling at Takeda.
- Dermatology/Dermatologist calling experience highly preferred.
- Business/strategic planning skills; adaptability.
- Understanding of managed care landscape.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork.
- Reside within or close to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to healthcare professionals.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.
