About the Role:
Specialty Business Manager (SBM) drives demand for the assigned Dermatology product through education, optimizing business opportunities in dermatology-focused physician offices, clinics, and hospital accounts.

How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition; advance customers across an educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical/patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education programs for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Manage accounts within dermatology practices/clinics, independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals/territory metrics; execute franchise/company brand strategy for the assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information, approved materials, and medical reprints.
- Present complex clinical/business information to office and institutional audiences.
- Develop and implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office, etc.).
- Uphold patient-first values; adhere to Takeda compliance policies and training.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Required:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful pharma/biotech/medical device selling (or 2+ years at Takeda).
- Dermatology/Dermatologist calling experience highly preferred.
- Strategic planning/business acumen; understanding of managed care impact.
- Strong communication, influencing, presentation, and writing skills.
- Collaboration/team success.
- Reside within or close to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists.
- Experience managing complex reimbursement issues.

Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License.

Travel Requirements:
- Drive/fly to accounts; up to 25–50% overnight travel.

Compensation/Benefits (summary):
- U.S. hourly wage range: $63.51–$87.31; eligible for short-term incentives and may include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, disability/life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off (up to 80 hours sick time; up to 120 hours paid vacation for new hires).
