About the Role
- Drive demand through education following potential regulatory approval.
- Educate HCPs and optimize business opportunities in Dermatology-focused physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts.
- Demonstrate excellence in business processes that benefit patients and achieve sales goals.
How you will contribute
- Support account onboarding and initial clinical/patient access education.
- Perform clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition; advance customers across an educational continuum.
- Coordinate clinical education (e.g., peer-to-peer), and conduct account management in Dermatology practices/clinics.
- Achieve territory sales goals and key metrics; execute franchise/company brand strategy within assigned customer segments.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Present complex clinical/business information to office and institutional audiences.
- Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease/treatments.
- Manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office).
- Adhere to compliance policies and training.
Minimum requirements/qualifications
Required:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience (pharma/biotech/medical device) and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years at Takeda.
- Dermatology experience/experience calling Dermatologists (highly preferred).
- Business/strategic planning skills; understanding of managed care.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, written communication; collaboration.
- Live within or close proximity to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to healthcare professionals.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.
Training/Licenses/Travel
- Successful completion of mandatory product training (includes written/oral exams).
- Valid Driverβs License.
- Ability to drive/fly; up to 25β50% overnight travel.
Compensation & benefits (USA - DC - Virtual)
- U.S. hourly wage range: $63.51β$87.31.
