About the Role:
The Dermatology sales force drives demand for an assigned product through education. The Specialty Business Manager (SBM) educates healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimizes business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts in Dermatology. Develop and apply business processes that benefit patients and achieve sales goals.

How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition; advance customers across an educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities (e.g., peer-to-peer) for HCPs.
- Perform account management in Dermatology practices/clinics/outlets and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals and territory metrics; execute brand/franchise strategy and tactics within customer segments.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies; build customer engagement and educate decision makers.
- Present complex clinical/business information to office and institutional audiences.
- Develop and implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease/treatment and market changes.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office).
- Uphold patient-first values, customer satisfaction standards, and company compliance policies.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Required:
- BA/BS
- 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda
- Dermatology/Dermatologist calling experience highly preferred
- Business/strategic planning skills; adaptability to market changes
- Understanding of managed care landscape
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication skills
- Collaboration/team success
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs
- Experience calling on Dermatologists
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues

Training Requirements:
- Successful completion of mandatory product training with written/oral exams; contingent employment.

Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License

Travel Requirements:
- Drive/fly to accounts and occasional meetings; overnight travel up to 25–50%.

Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- U.S. hourly wage range: $63.51–$87.31
- Potential eligibility for short-term incentives; medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, holidays, well-being benefits; up to 80 hours sick time; up to 120 hours paid vacation for new hires.
