Role / Responsibilities:
- Drive demand post-potential regulatory approval by educating healthcare providers (HCPs) in Dermatology.
- Support account onboarding via education.
- Perform clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers through a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education; coordinate peer-to-peer and other HCP education programs.
- Manage Dermatology accounts (physician offices, clinics, hospitals) and attain sales goals/territory metrics.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials/medical reprints; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies and build customer engagement.
- Present complex clinical/business information to Dermatologists and other decision-making groups.
- Develop and implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; stay current on disease/treatment updates.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, etc.).
- Adhere to compliance policies and uphold patient-first values.
Qualifications:
- Required: BA/BS; 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical devices (or relevant clinical/industry) OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology/Dermatologists experience highly preferred.
- Business/strategic planning skills; understanding of managed care; strong communication, presentation, influencing, writing; collaboration; reside within/close to assigned geography.
- Preferred: 5+ years direct selling to HCPs; experience calling on Dermatologists; managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.
- Valid Driverβs License.
- Travel: drive/fly to accounts; occasional overnight travel 25β50%.
Compensation/Benefits (explicit):
- NJ (Virtual) hourly wage range: $63.51β$87.31; may be eligible for short-term incentives; medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, disability and life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, holidays, well-being benefits; up to 80 hours sick time and up to 120 hours paid vacation for new hires.
Training:
- Must pass mandatory product training (written/oral). Initial non-exempt status during training; then transitioned to exempt after passing exams.
