How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Perform clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition; advance customers along a brand educational continuum.
- Provide initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate/sponsor clinical education (e.g., peer-to-peer) for HCPs.
- Conduct account management in Dermatology practices/clinics/hospital accounts and independent physician offices.
- Achieve territory sales goals/metrics; execute franchise and brand strategy for assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop/deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies and build customer engagement via education and relationship cultivation.
- Present complex clinical/business information to Dermatologists and relevant professional/patient groups.
- Develop/implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; stay current on disease/treatments and business environment.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs).
- Follow compliance policies/training and uphold patient-first values.
Minimum requirements/qualifications:
- Bachelorโs (BA/BS).
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device (or relevant clinical/industry experience) OR 2+ years at Takeda.
- Dermatology/Dermatologists experience highly preferred.
- Business/strategic planning; managed care understanding.
- Strong communication and collaboration; reside within/close to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs; experience calling on Dermatologists.
- Experience managing complex reimbursement issues.
Travel:
- Drive/fly to accounts; some overnight travel (up to 25โ50%).
Training requirements:
- Must pass mandatory product training (written/oral). During training: non-exempt; eligible for overtime only; not eligible for sales incentives/bonuses. After passing: transitioned to exempt.
